Premier League Gameweek 36 - Best Value Bets

With Manchester City confirmed as Premier League Champions attention for punters turns to who will win the race for the remaining Champions League spots. While Manchester United look to have a place sewn up, there is a scrap between five other teams for the remaining spots with some big games this weekend.
We’ve taken a look at the most important matches from Gameweek 36 for your betting pleasure.
Brighton and Hove Albion vs West Ham United
The Hammers have very much been the surprise package of the Premier League this season and with Chelsea in action against Leicester in the FA Cup Final on Saturday, David Moyes’ team have a chance to make up some ground with their game in hand. They face a Brighton side who are secure from relegation and who realistically are only playing for pride.
With Chelsea losing 1-0 to Arsenal on Wednesday night, a win for the Hammers would get them back to within three points of the top four with two games remaining. Neither the Seagulls nor West Ham come into the game in any great form but the return of Declan Rice to the Hammers side could be decisive, The last four games in the Premier League between these two sides have finished as a draw; we think West Ham will break that run in this game. Can Brighton put another dent into the Hammers’ hopes for Champions League qualification?

Tottenham Hotspur vs Wolverhampton Wanderers
It’s been a somewhat disappointing campaign for both Spurs and Wolves and while Spurs can potentially still qualify for Europe they will need to return to winning ways quickly. They face a Wolves side who needed a last-minute winner to turn over 10 man Brighton and who are in a disappointing 12th in the table.
Recent history has been on the side of Wolves in meetings between these two teams, with the men from Molineux having only lost once in their last four encounters with Spurs. Last time out Nuno Espirito Santo went with a youthful side with five players under 21, three of them being teenagers. Will he be so experimental against a Spurs side desperate for wins? We’re expecting goals in this one. Can Nuno’s Wolves wonder kids make Spurs suffer?

West Bromwich Albion vs Liverpool
Last weekend saw the end to Sam Allardyce’s record of never having been relegated from the Premier League as the Baggies lost 3-1 at the Emirates. Now the Albion manager has to pick his team up for a tough game at home to a Liverpool side which is in danger of not qualifying for the Champion’s League and who have to recover from a tough midweek fixture against Manchester United.
Provided Liverpool can come through their trip to Old Trafford unscathed, then one would expect them to smash a demoralised Baggies team. West Brom haven’t lost in their last four meetings with the Reds but this is a very different exercise and it will be interesting how much Allardyce changes things with only pride to play for. Can the Baggies reclaim some pride in a tough fixture against Liverpool?

Everton vs Sheffield United
Everton host a Sheffield United side on Sunday who are almost certainly condemned to finish bottom of the table. The match is the second in a tough run of four in ten days for the Toffees and while it’s possible that Everton could sneak into European qualification it seems unlikely now.
Colombian forward James Rodriguez could make his return from injury against the Blades which could help the Toffees no end, particularly if they have to rotate their squad. Ethan Ampadu could return for the Blades but the recently arrested Blades striker Oli McBurnie is out for the season having broken a metatarsal. The Blades have scored once in their last five games and this might be the game to break it with Everton likely to reshuffle. Can Everton shut out Sheffield United as they bring their congested campaign to a close?
