Aston Villa vs Chelsea
Thomas Tuchel’s Chelsea took revenge for losing the FA Cup final to Leicester by beating the Foxes 2-1 on Tuesday, moving ahead of them into third place and in the box seat for Champions League qualification. Yet it’s not quite as simple as just going for the win against Villa as next Saturday Chelsea travel to Portugal to face Manchester City in the Champions League final.
N’Golo Kante picked up an injury in the win over Leicester in midweek and he is being assessed ahead of this game. With Kai Havertz having tweaked his hamstring slightly in the FA Cup Final it’s unlikely the German forward will be risked. Against an Aston Villa side in indifferent form with little to play for, it might be Tuchel keeps his key players back for the big game in Portugal. Can Chelsea hold on to third place with a win at Villa Park? Read our predictions for this game.

Liverpool vs Crystal Palace
Jurgen Klopp’s side have been in imperious form of late, winning four games in a row to push themselves up to fourth in the league table and a good chance of Champions League qualification which looked to be beyond them a few weeks ago. They face a Crystal Palace side who gave as good as they have got in the last couple of games and who will want to give boss Roy Hodgson a good send off against his former club.
Liverpool’s season has been defined by injuries and they go into this game with a lot of defensive players out. Nat Phillips has acquitted himself well in recent weeks and even scored his first Premier League goal in the last game. With forward Robert Firmino coming back into form it could be that Liverpool finish the season with a bang. Can Crystal Palace do anything to stop Liverpool from finishing the season on a high? Find out our prediction for this game.

Leicester City vs Tottenham Hotspur
Tuesday’s defeat to Spurs meant that Leicester start the day in fifth place and out of the running for Champions League qualification. Having faltered at the end of last season Brendan Rodgers will be keen to ensure his players do what they can to ensure that they don’t fall at the last hurdle again.
They face a Spurs side who could potentially catch West Ham in sixth and earn themselves a spot in the Europa League but there is a question how much Spurs actually want that. With players like Harry Kane keen to finish the season and get ready for Euro2020 it might be that Spurs take their foot off the pedal on this one. Can Spurs throw another spanner in the works for Leicester’s Champions League chances?

Arsenal vs Brighton and Hove Albion
It’s not been the best of seasons for Mikel Arteta or his Arsenal charges but they come into the final game with an outside chance of at least finishing above their great rivals Tottenham Hotspur. To do so they need to beat a Brighton side who came back from 2-0 down to beat Manchester City on Tuesday.
David Luiz could be fit enough to return for what would be his final Arsenal game but backup keeper Mat Ryan is ineligible as he cannot face his parent club. Lewis Dunk will return from suspension for Brighton but Neal Maupay remains on the sidelines having been banned for foul language. Arsenal should win, but we don’t expect Brighton to make it easy for them. Can Arsenal finish the season on a high against Brighton? Find out more with our prediction.
