Are you looking for Davis Cup tips? On this page you will find tips for Davis Cup matches rated on a scale from 0 to 10 to help you find the picks you need.
The Davis Cup is the premier international team event in Men’s tennis. It is run by the International Tennis Federation (ITF) and is contested on an annual basis by national teams in a knock out format. There were 130 countries who entered the 2016 competition, with the top 16 fighting out for the title in the “World Group”. The best 16 nations play each other in a straight knockout. Fixtures are held over a weekend, and consist of four singles match and one doubles match. Two players represent each country in the singles, playing two matches each while one or both can also feature in the doubles rubber of the fixture. Singles matches are on a best of five sets basis although this is to be reduced to best of three. The eight first round losers in the World Group have to play a play-off to retain their place in the top group while the eight first round winners advance to the quarter-finals. Matches become available for Davis Cup tips up to 72 hours prior to the start of the fixture. However, most tips are posted much closer to the start time as tipsters will want to watch how injuries and scores affect the tie. There are also live tips for Davis Cup matches available while rubbers are in progress – however these have to be used quickly as odds can fluctuate rapidly. Tips are available in a variety of betting markets including player to win, games totals and handicaps.
All Davis Cup tips are rated on a scale from 0 to 10, with tips rated at 10 the most likely to win. Tips are rated using an algorithm which takes into account a tipster’s performance in the same betting market, with the same teams and in the same tournament before assigning a score. This is done so users can find the tips they need quickly without having to check through reams of statistics. These stats are useful for tipsters too. ProTipster feeds data back to tipsters to help them understand their own betting trends so that they can adjust their strategies. The more tips posted, the more data that can be collected and the more accurate insights will be. Join ProTipster today to find out how you can boost your betting profits with Davis Cup tips.
