How to find NHL Picks
The National Hockey League is a professional hockey league based in North America. The league is made up of 30 clubs, 23 of which are in the United States and seven in Canada. The NHL is considered to be the most prestigious ice hockey league in the world. NHL teams play for the Stanley Cup, the oldest professional sports trophy in America. The regular NHL season runs from early October to mid April. Clubs play 82 games in the regular season on nights throughout the week, meaning there is always a chance there will be great NHL picks available for you. Games are available for tips three days in advance but it’s normally best to check close to face-off time to look for the best tips. The NHL is divided into two conferences, the Eastern Conference and the Western Conference. Those conferences are then divided into two divisions. There are 16 teams in the Eastern Conference (8 teams per division) and 14 in the Western Conference (7 teams per division). At the end of the season eight teams from each conference qualify for the playoffs. The top three teams in each division qualify automatically followed by the two teams with the best records. These teams play each other in a knock-out tournament until the final bracket when the winning team takes the Stanley Cup. These matches take the form of best-of-seven series and run from April until June. Naturally, these matches will also be available on ProTipster for tipsters to post NHL picks.
