With the international break well and truly out of the way the Premier League is back with a bang. All 20 teams are in action this week and with matches split between Tuesday and Wednesday I’m going to split my Premier League tips, previews and analysis into two.
I want to take a look at two interesting games tonight. Burnley face Stoke City with both teams in a poor run of form while West Bromwich Albion could close the gap on the top seven further with an away win over Watford.
Premier League Tips and Analysis: Burnley v Stoke City
Burnley have one of the best home records in the Premier League, with no less than nine home victories. However, their poor away form leaves them just five points clear of the drop zone leaving Clarets fans nervous and with Sean Dyche’s side winless in eight it’s not looking good for Burnley.
Stoke have been poor of late too. With 36 points on the board one would think they’re pretty much safe from the drop zone but four points from 24 away from home gives them an away record that is starting to rival Burnley for paucity of positive results. Stoke haven’t scored away from home since mid-January – five games ago.
For those looking for a cert, under 2.5 goals at 1.55 seems the way to go but I’ve always been one looking for slightly longer shots with my Premier League tips. With this in mind, I’m sticking my neck out and I’m going for Burnley to come back with a win against Stoke at 2.45.

Premier League Tips and Analysis: Watford v West Bromwich Albion
Both teams come into this game having had a positive weekend. Watford ended a winless streak with a scrappy 1-0 win over Sunderland while the Baggies got a creditable draw at Old Trafford that left Jose Mourinho unhappy.
Watford have only won two of their last seven at Vicarage Road, and have only kept two clean sheets during this period. West Brom are no great shakes away from home, having won only once away from home in their last nine but their four defeats have been at Chelsea, Arsenal, Spurs and Everton – all tough games.
West Brom are a team that are brilliant on set pieces and I think this is where Watford will come undone. As much as Tony Pulis builds a staid team it’s worked wonders this season for West Brom and they’re my Premier League tips to win at 2.95.
