Hello again good listener, welcome back to yet another ProTipster Football Show, today’s episode features the Manchester Derby, the Liverpool Derby and a couple of other matches where we found some value in the betting markets and the most hated men in football.
Premier League Betting
There’s a couple of absolute humdingers coming up this weekend and we start off the Premier League coverage by taking a look at yet another London derby where West Ham will have the warmest of welcomes (not really) for Chelsea on Saturday early afternoon.
Then we turn our attention to Newcastle United’s match with Leicester City. Rafa Benitez is looking as forlorn as he’s ever looked and you have to think maybe he’s had enough of trying to get funds to bring in players and with the selling process looking like it won’t be completed before January will he hold off until next summer before he can strenghten the squad; will they even be in the Premier League next season if their form continues like this?
The Liverpool derby is next up, Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool will be extending the red carpet for Sam Allardyce’s Everton and it’s a win-win situation for Sam, if they get hammered it’s not his fault as he’s just taken over the team, if they manage a draw, or even a win (they won’t) then he’s a footballing genius.
Finally then from the Premier League we look at the Manchester derby between Manchester United and Manchester City. It’s got us all fierce excited here at ProTipster Towers and it’s so close to pick. Manchester United look to be back to their best after a bit of a wobble and Manchester City having lost midweek to Shakhtar Donetsk. It’s so close to call but the ProTipsters give it their all and we knock our heads together…no actually, I’m fibbing, we can’t make up our minds but one thing is for sure, it’s going to be incredibly interesting.
On to The Championship then, Sheffield United are taking on Bristol City on Friday night in a top-of-the-table battle. The Blades have also taken a wobble and Bristol City are in brilliant form especially on the road and it looks like the goals markets have some value.
We get off the matches then and we have a look at the Top 10 Most Hated Men in Football, a recent FourFourTwo article. We all love a villain in football so we go through some of the players and ‘football men’ we secretly love to hate.
European Football Betting
Back to European football then and we take a look at The Real Madrid – Sevilla match where Real Madrid will only be playing with one recognised defender, but they’re facing a Sevilla who haven’t won at Real Madrid since the dinosaurs roamed the planets. Last but not least is another top-of-the-table clash in Serie A where the Old Lady Juventus are taking on Inter. We all saw how Juventus handled an in-form Napoli last weekend and we all think they’re going to do the same against Inter this weekend.
That’s it from us guys, enjoy the football and don’t be shy about getting in touch.
