Hello and welcome once again to a special video of The Protipster Football Show. Today we bring you some more expert Premier League betting tips and early value from the football markets.
Premier League Betting Tips
We kick off the podcast by speaking a little about the weekend’s action. Arsenal ground out a result, have they developed a backbone or was it luck, was it even a penalty? Spurs…well, Spurs did a Spurs against West Brom who finally decided to try to play some football. Everton are gone beyond the joke at this stage and Sheffield United came unstuck against a Birmingham City side not even their most passionate of fans can trust anymore.
We don’t speak about all the upcoming Premier League games, only the ones where we’ve picked out some value tips. First up is ‘the strangest derby in the Premier League’ according to ProTipsterDan, where Brighton & Hove Albion will be hosting Roy Hodgon’s Crystal Palace. This is our Tip of the Day on ProTipster YouTube channel, Dan has gone with Brighton to Win and he speaks about why it’s a good, value bet.
Next up we have a chat about West Brom taking on Newcastle, now yes it’s not a glomour fixture but West Brom are finally free from the shackles of the dour football that Tony Pulis loves to thrust upon his teams and Newcastle can’t buy a win on the road, so we speak about what’s on offer here and whether if West Brom win, will they be shooting themselves in the foot, could Gary Megson be named manager? Naw, we think not. We’ve even got yet another ‘you heard it here first’ for you lovely folks.
Expert Betting Tips
Everton vs West Ham is up next. David Moyes returns to his old happy hunting ground and could well become the first manager ever to get a caretaker manager of a team he used to manage fired. You’d have to feel sorry for David Unsworth, I do, and I’m a Liverpool fan. For a man that wanted the job so much to have to work with players who could barely sting a sentence together let alone a couple of passes on a football pitch. Your heart would bleed for the poor devil. We have a couple of different takes on this match; both teams are desperate for a win and will need to do a lot better than they’ve recently been doing. Is it too early to say ‘relegation six-pointer?’ Yes, it is, but you already knew that.
Our final game that we focus on is Manchester City versus Southampton. ProTipsterDan was hugely impressed with City’s comeback against Huddersfield so he speaks about what he’s backing in the match.
Finally then we go to the back pages of the football press and talk about what’s been filling the pages. It’s Martin O’Neill or Sam Allardyce at Everton, well it was around the time we were recording. And, sure we all know by now who it will be but just before recording it had been Martin O’Neill who was the favourite. We also talk a little bit more about Manchester City and if they do have any weakness in their first 11. Two names jump out so we have a chat about them.
