Hammarby vs Orebro Betting Preview
Hammarby will host Orebro at Tele2 Arena in Stockholm in game week 18 of the Swedish Allsvenskan. The hosts are on the second place, just two points behind AIK, so now they need three points in order to stay title contenders.
Hammarby are undefeated in their last five league matches.
Orebro conceded eight goals in their last five league matches.
Hammarby and Norrkoping drew last week 0-0, and the biggest winners following that result were AIK Solna who are leaders with two points advantage over Hammarby. Hammarby were good against Norrkoping, but striker Muamer Tanković didn’t realize good chance late on, so his team had to satisfy with just a point.
Since summer break Hammarby are terrific, they’re without defeat, with two draws and three victories.
The hosts today have all their player available and new signing Vladimir Rodić is ready to play too.
Orebro are going through a difficult period as they’re winless in their last seven league games. During this period they took just two points and now they will have to start keeping any eye on the teams below them in the standings. Orebro are now only four points above the bottom three, so they can’t afford to keep dropping points.
The visitors don’t play so bad football, but they’re struggling in converting chances to goals. They lost their last two games with 2-1 scores, so at least they were always “close”.
Martin Lorentzson is suspended for Orebro, while Arvid Brorsson and Kennedy Igboananike are doubtful.
Odds and Predictions
Hammarby are simply better side. They’re title contenders and now they need to take three points in order to stay in hunt for AIK. They lost two points last weeks, so they will not want to loose points in front of their fans in Stockholm.
Also, it is important to note that the hosts are in much better form. As I already mentioned they’re unbeaten in their last five matches. On the other hand Orebro is winless in their last seven league games.
I expect here home win and I will go this time with Asian handicap -1. Yes, I’m aware that the hosts care only about win, but they have enough quality to beat Orebro with two goals margin.
